About the Author
Intense determination to implement God s purpose for her life would describe the character of Pastor Suzette Caldwell. She has committed her life to achieving excellence through biblical living. She strongly believes that any person who is willing to walk by faith and trust God will achieve their dreams and desires. In 1986, Suzette graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Caldwell s professional career as an environmental engineer in the public and private sector spans over 17 years. As an entrepreneur, she owned TC Consulting Group, Inc., an environmental consulting company. In September 1997, Governor George W. Bush appointed Mrs. Caldwell to the University of Houston System Board of Regents. Presently, she serves as an Associate Pastor for Windsor Village United Methodist Church. In addition, Caldwell serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Kingdom Builders Prayer Institute, a non-profit community-based organization that prays for the Houston metropolitan area and teaches people how to pray. Her service to the community, in addition to her technical career, has better equipped her to empower people to fulfill God s promises for their lives. Suzette is married to Pastor Kirbyjon H. Caldwell. They are the parents of Turner, Nia, and Alexander Caldwell.

Life Changing

I have always believed in the power of prayer, but never really knew what to say when I prayed to God. When I did pray, it was always about me and my issues. Reading this book, made me realize that it needs to be more than just about me. It is truly about getting connected to God on a more intimate level.
After reading this book all the way through, I have personally prayed the scriptual prayers following the examples in this book and have seen first hand what God can do and the miracles He performs. It has been an insightful experience that has changed my life and allowed to me to reconnect with God when previously I had fallen away from Him.
I encourage you to give this book a try and see what God can do in your life, if you will only talk to Him.

Praying After Jesus!

This was a wonderful book! It breaks down The Lord's Prayer into sections, explains how to pray each, gives so many sample scriptures and prayers and just walks you through the entire sequence. It's beautiful to pray exactly as Jesus taught us to and to give Him the opportunity to speak specific scriptures to us that are on His heart and to give us the scriptures to back up our requests for the daily bread we need. I have begun to implement the steps into my own daily prayer time and it is making a huge impact. The book is easy to read, understand and implement and I highly recommend it!
